Black Tail Deer (Mule Deer)
Mule Deer captured when we shocked one another as she was strolling through the woodlands at Placerita Canyon, and I happened to hear her sound and saw her swiftly coming in my direction as she was trotting near where I was photographing birds. It was my very first encounter ever with any Deer at Placerita Canyon since photographing there in 2018 . Image of the Deer was captured in 2023.
