Dreamscapes Exhibition Artist Statement
My positive conscious thoughts I have when photographing
Wildlife and being surrounded by Nature on our beautiful
Planet, are conflicting with my sad subconscious dreams at
night. The loss of dinosaurs is a story that is being repeated
tens of thousands of years later, with extinctions of Wild
Animals and natural landscapes happening at a rapid pace.
And sadly, I am losing hope that our planet can recover. In
my dreams, I am remembering the beauty that had been
there in my childhood and as a Wildlife + Nature
Photographer and Naturalist, as If I was living in a world that
no longer has Animal Life and beautiful habitat. I cry a soft
tear every time I remember what is happening to our Planet
and its inhabitants. I don't want to lose all hope. The beauty
of our Planet and Wild Animals are what keeps me alive every
day.
