Artist Statement
Autumn is the season for rebirth- after the hot dry Summer weather
has wilted the sunflowers and parched the Earth. Autumn brings
rain... and with it, new life! Winds blow fiercely through the canyons
and mushrooms grow on dead tree stumps that have fallen over.
Acorn Woodpeckers gather unripe acorns and store them in Granary
Trees for Winter's food and to feed their young in the Spring!
